What is a Vampire Facial?
A Vampire Facial® is a revolutionary new combination of microneedling and PRP treatment. It’s done by using micro-punctures at precise spots on your face to activate your body’s wound healing response. Many patients liken this minimally-invasive procedure to a fun spa day since the procedure is painless and only takes about an hour and a half.
It involves 3 steps. First, your technician draws your blood and applies a numbing cream to your face before the microneedling process. Then, your blood sample is sent to the lab while your skilled technician administers the microneedling. Lastly, the Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) derived from your blood sample is applied topically for better absorption.
What is PRP & Why Add It?
Lab technicians isolate special proteins and growth factors from your blood sample after your blood is drawn. These special proteins are then concentrated into PRP for better healing and better cell growth. This helps stimulate the growth of new and healthy cells.
Since PRP is added to targeted areas of your face as part of the Vampire Facial®, it improves the healing process. PRP can also boost collagen production in your skin, which tightens your skin for a firmer and smoother complexion.

What Can I Expect From A Vampire Facial?
Most people notice a healthier complexion just a few short days after the facial. Over the course of 4-6 weeks, your skin continues to produce collagen and remodel itself. You’ll notice that flaws on your skin disappear and correct themselves gradually over this period.
Are There Any Initial Side Effects?
Side effects from treatment are typically mild and short-lived. Your skin will be red for a few days after the treatment. Some people also reported tightness on their skin and some bruising. Besides that, you won’t be able to wear makeup for a couple of days after the treatment to help with the recovery.
When Can I Return To My Normal Routine?
Some patients return to their normal routines immediately after the treatment, but doctors don’t usually recommend that. You’re advised to keep the PRP on your face for at least 12-24 hours so that it’ll continue to heal your skin. The longer you leave the PRP on your face, the better the results will be.
