What is diVa™?

diVa™ Laser Vaginal Therapy is a non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation treatment used for various gynecological problems usually caused by childbirth or the natural aging process, such as weakened vaginal tissue, urinary incontinence, chronic dryness, vaginal discomfort, or loss of sensation.

diVa™ helps treat:

How does it work?

diVa™ vaginal treatment uses a Hybrid Fractional Laser Technology to allow a customized, precise treatment for each patient. The hybrid fractional lasers create varying levels of ablation and coagulation, allowing the physician to specially customize the treatment to each patient and her needs. The doctor will use a specialized dilator on the inside of the vaginal canal to access the tissue and provide collagen growth stimulation. The dilator is a Strengthened Quartz Dilator (SQD) that dilates the tissue being treated for a thorough and even treatment. The SQD remains stationery in the vagina for maximum patient comfort while the laser rotates and delivers the laser pulses. The SQD uses a different part of the quartz every time the laser pulses, creating a more precise and efficient effect. The hybrid fractional lasers also use high precision automation, which causes the treatments to be more uniform, fast, and safe. This state-of-the-art technology provides the best of both worlds. It is both automated and customizable.

Most patients that choose to undergo the therapy are searching for help after childbirth and/or changes that come naturally with aging, such as menopause.

Using our advanced customized protocols the treatment takes 10 to 15 minutes. diVa™ is an efficient, customized procedure that requires little to no downtime. This makes it a great option for those who don’t want a more invasive surgical procedure.

diVa™ provides a safe and customized treatment for every patient. You will experience strengthened tissue, firmer vaginal walls, increased vaginal moisture, and better urinary continence. diVa™ vaginal laser therapy is a series of 3 sessions 4 to 6 weeks apart.

It is a quick and simple procedure with few side effects. Some patients may experience mild irritation or blood tinged discharge, but typically patients are able to return to their normal schedules the same day.

Clinical study data demonstrates that for optimal results, three procedures are recommended every 4 to 6 weeks, followed by one optional maintenance procedure yearly.

No, diVa™ vaginal treatment is generally not considered painful. The procedure is well-tolerated by most patients. However, to enhance patient comfort, a topical anesthetic is applied before the treatment.
