O-Shot® Treatment

O-Shot® is primarily intended for women suffering from female sexual dysfunction and other women looking to more fully enjoy and improve their sex lives. The O-Shot® relieves issues of ability to orgasm. It can also provide relief from medical issues such as stress urinary incontinence, lichen sclerosus, chronic pain or scarring. These issues can also be treated with PRP.

During your initial consultation, Dr. Geer will be able to better determine your candidacy for the procedure. At that time she will address any questions that you might have about O-Shot® and PRP.

This procedure is non-surgical and can be performed during an in-office visit. During your treatment, we will draw some of your blood and spin it in an FDA-approved centrifuge to isolate the PRP. After numbing the area, Dr. Geer will then provide the treatment.

As the O-shot® triggers cell regeneration, results will get better with time. After just a few weeks you will be able to experience increased sensation, and the full results will be felt within a few months. You’ll experience better and more frequent orgasm.

No. Some women may experience some spotting after the procedure, as well as minor bruising for a couple of days thereafter. But since this is an in-office procedure involving minimal discomfort and for most women no pain, you can go back to your daily activities immediately.

Though every patient is different, many women repeat PRP treatments every 6-12 months for ongoing, improved sexual sensitivity and decreased urinary leaks.

No. It’s safe to resume sex after 24 hours, and it will not adversely affect your sexual responsiveness.

After we draw your blood, we process it into PRP in a centrifuge. During that time, Dr. Geer will apply strong topical anesthetic to your clitoris and vagina. Most women report little to no discomfort.
