Are Halo Treatments Painful
Halo is one of the few laser treatments that offers Dynamic Thermal Optimization. Halo treatments continuously monitor the outer temperature of your skin to keep you comfortable throughout treatment. Most patients report a slight warming sensation during the procedure and several hours afterward. For deeper treatments or extra-sensitive skin, a topical numbing cream can be applied.
What Results Can I Expect?
Results from Halo non-ablative treatments are gradual and long-lasting. Pigmented acne scars will begin to fade over the course of several weeks. Optimal results can be seen in 3-6 weeks as skin cells are renewed thanks to additional collagen production. Most acne scars can be treated with just one Halo treatment. However, a follow-up visit may be required for more severe scars.
